This policy explains what ladylawshield.com collects, how the firm uses it, and your choices. The site is operated by Truxillo Law Firm PLLC, d/b/a Lady Law Shield. Information you share after you become a client is governed by the firm's professional duties to clients, not by this policy.
What you give the firm
The Field Guide form asks for your contact details and how you heard about the firm. The consultation form asks for your contact details, your role and employer, and a description of the issue you need help with. Submitting this form does not create an attorney-client relationship. The firm uses it to check for conflicts and decide whether it can help. The firm keeps what you submit confidential, but it may not be protected by attorney-client privilege. Send only what the form asks for.
What the site collects automatically
The site uses Google Analytics and the firm's website and customer platform (GoHighLevel, also known as LeadConnector). They use cookies to record things like your IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, and the page or search that sent you here. These third parties may collect information about your online activity over time and across other websites when you use this site. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, though parts of the site may not work. The site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
How the firm uses and shares information
The firm uses what you give it to answer your inquiry, check for conflicts, hold consultations, send material you asked for, meet the record-keeping duties of attorneys, and improve the site.
The firm does not sell personal information, and it does not share what you submit through its forms for advertising. It shares information with the service providers that run its site, email, text messages, scheduling, call recording, drafting and analytics. The firm may also disclose information when the law, a court or an agency requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for marketing.
Text messages and email
If you agree to receive text messages, the firm may text you about your inquiry, your consultation and firm updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a consultation you booked.
Call recording and transcripts
Discovery Calls are recorded and transcribed by the firm's customer platform (GoHighLevel), and the firm uses the transcript to prepare the follow-up email it sends you. The firm tells you when you book and again at the start of the call.
Your choices
You may ask the firm what personal information it holds about you, or ask it to correct or delete that information. Write to hello@ladylawshield.com or call 832-400-3668. The firm may need to confirm your identity first. Conflicts records and records the firm must keep under the rules for attorneys are kept even after a deletion request.
How long information is kept
The firm keeps inquiry and conflicts information as long as it needs it to check for conflicts and meet its record-keeping duties. The firm keeps recordings and transcripts of calls and does not delete them on a schedule. Field Guide subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe.
Security and children
The firm uses reasonable measures to protect information, though no website or transmission is completely secure. The site is meant for adults, and the firm does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
The firm may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and the firm will give notice by email or on the site before they take effect.
